Macky's Hidden Inn

This is a local level hotel - it exceeded our expectations though, it was back a lane from the main street and very quiet, had a rooftop with beautiful views, did a basic but good breakfast, is close to everything in Coron. The staff were fantastic, my husband had blown his knee and the helped with our bags, gave me directions to a pharmacy for supplies, moved things around so he was ground floor. Aircons worked and bathrooms are all in one and very basic but immaculate. For the price it was perfect for us and our friends and adult kids (we had 5 rooms between us) I would stay again.

We can not understand the negative reviews about this guesthouse except if you expect the Ritz for this price. We stayed for 8 nights on the upper floor and had a very pleasant stay. The room is comfortable and spotless clean. The room size is good and there are enough shelfs to store clothes and items as well as many hooks. Wifi in the room was good, even for watching videos. The staff is very friendly and willing to help for any issue. The room was cleaned every other day (a special thanks to the cleaning staff doing a great job). It's true that the air conditioning is a bit loud like everywhere in the Philippines but we turned it on the minimum and had no problem to sleep with it on. During our stay it was always quiet in the common areas so we had a very good sleep.

The staff is extremely friendly. They arranged us 2 boat tours, rental of motorcicle for 6 hours and also drive to the airport which was much cheaper than we would pay if we booked ourselves because it was a combined drive with minivan so we picked up also other people. And for the boat toors also the drive to the tour and back was aranged and included in the price. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

It's near to everything you need ( restaurants, spa's, port , motorbike rentals & etc. ) the staffs are nice and attentive as well. The room is clean and the aircon is quite and cold. Hot & cold shower is also available. Price is cheaper than most with this kind of comfort. We stayed 3 nights in total!
